Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to assist with community gardening planning efforts. 

The first community garden started by the South Bend Community Garden group, located in Potawatomi Park on the grounds of the Ella Morris and Muessel-Ellison Conservatories and Potawatomi Greenhouse, is full and currently has a waiting list.  The need for more urban gardening space is evident.  Spring is the perfect time to plan for a new growing season. 

Individuals interested in: locating and securing new garden plots, supporting emerging gardens through mentoring and educational efforts, and promoting gardening and gardening education are encouraged to attend.
